Anna Domingo was appointed Marketing Director of The View from The Shard – the visitor attraction at the top of Western Europe’s tallest building – in July 2014. Her previous roles include launching and directing the marketing and communications for the observation deck ‘Top of The Rock’ at the Rockefeller Centre and The Empire State Building, New York.

Born and raised in Barcelona, Anna Domingo holds an MA in Integrated Marketing Communication from Boston’s Emerson College.

Ms. Domingo, who joined The View from The Shard after its highly successful first year, possesses unique expertise in developing consumer engagement strategies for observation decks overseas, adding experience value through innovative brand partnerships. Her strong experience in New York City is augmented by her work leading integrated marketing communications in worldwide major destinations and new landmarks in the Middle East and Europe. These include Platea Madrid (Spain), Value Retail (Madrid, Spain), Saadiyat Island Manarat al Saadiyat Experience Centre (UAE), and most recently the Mall of Qatar, the largest shopping centre under construction in Qatar and second largest in the Middle East.

A respected board advisor and guest speaker on destination marketing, Ms. Domingo has presented at London, winning audiences conference March 2014, New York Times Travel Show, Palma de Mallorca, Visitinnovation Forum 2011 & 2010, EIBTM Barcelona 2011 ROI vs ROE panelist and given marketing destination conferences also in Peru and Spain. Anna has published monthly opinion columns in several marketing publications such as CONTROL PUBLICITARIO and a chapter about destination marketing book ABACO.

Under her watch, The View from The Shard won ‘Cultural Attraction of the Year’ at the London Lifestyle Awards.

Ms. Domingo lives between Connecticut, USA and London, UK with her husband.

Mi energía desde las alturas

Anna Domingo nos contara como tras la apertura del edificio mas alto de Europa y Londres tuvo la posibilidad de re-inventar la categoria en producto de una plataforma de observacion, generando a traves del desarrollo de producto multiples razones para la visita, no solo de visitants internacionales pero tambien generar el orgullo y visita repetida a nivel local.

El desarrollo de producto y un marketing multicanal han sido la clave y exito diferenciador de este edificio. Rompiendo moldes en su categoria y anyadiendo ingresos adicionales.
